OUR STORY
PAWSUP was founded by a group of creatives, many of whom graduated from the Royal College of Art.
Coming from different cultural and artistic backgrounds, we are interested in how handmade objects can move across contexts — becoming part of everyday life while carrying traces of where they come from.
By working with artists and makers, we aim to create pieces that feel both personal and shared — small objects that connect people through craft, material, and expression.
Our name PAWSUP comes from one of our founders being a longtime Lady Gaga fan. “Paws up” is a gesture used in her community to express connection, confidence, and individuality.
We loved the spirit behind it — a small, playful sign of belonging and self-expression.
It felt like the perfect name for a brand built around handmade pieces, each with its own character.
